First "official" post!

Hey there,
 I just wanted to make my first "official" post. And this is a writing tip: It's short, it's sweet, it's using proper spelling and grammar....  I know, I know, don't shoot.... You just got out of school, you're frankly tired of that "proper grammar" crap, am I right? Well, a large part of becoming a writer is having readers, or an audience, and if they can't read what you wrote, because the spelling and grammar is crappy, then you are kind of screwed... So, I'm not saying use proper grammar on your first draft, because I know some writing is spur-of-the-moment, but being able to revise your own writing can come in handy! And you know what really helps improve your spelling and grammar without having to study??? Reading!!! Go slow, and really notice the words, and structure of the paragraphs! It helps!
